Is anybody successful to install iATKOS 5i in Dell Studio 1735 yet? I have tried it more than 10 times in my laptop but still can't get it work.

My Dell laptop's specification:

Dell Studio 1735

Intel Core2 Duo T8100

TSSTcorp DVD+-RW TS-T633A ATA Device

Mobile Intel® 965 Express Chipset Family

Standard AHCI 1.0 Serial ATA Controller

Intel® ICH8 Family USB Universal Host Controller

IDT High Definition Audio CODEC

RICOH OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller

Dell Wireless 370 Bluetooth Mini-card

Broadcom NetLink Gigabit Ethernet

Dell Wireless 1397 WLAN Mini-Card

Standard PS/2 Keyboard

Dell Touchpad [Mouse]

I have tried to install 3 different kernel each time, but it boots until the light blue screen appears 1 second and it stops.

When installing, I customized as follow

- iATKOS v5i Main System

- For Bootloader (I chose PC EFI V9)

- Decrypters (AppleDecrypt)

- SMBIOS Enablers (SMBIOS-EFI)

- Kernel (tried all, one at time)

- ACPI (x86 ACPI)

- Disabler.kext

- OHR

- Drivers -> VGA -> Intel -> X3100 and EFI String for Intel (I selected both of them)

- System -> SATA /IDE -> Intel AHCI SATA

- Speedstep -> Intel speedstep a

- Laptop battery

- Network -> Broadcom 440x

Maybe I did wrong, anybody gives me some advice please? I really stuck on it. I love Mac OS and want to use it. Thanks very much in advance for your help!

What are some things you did to get it working on your dell?

Basically:

1. Install

2. Boot in single user mode -s at boot prompt

3. Delete all AppleIntelGMA* (10 files)

4. Reboot -f function.

Should boot with low res.

It appears the hot corners fix does not work with iATKOS 5.5 however. Try if you have any success with it.

Hope this helps.

Hot Corners trick does help and give full native res.
