I have everything up and running. Sound Works, lan, built in GMA950 works.

I have installed Final Cut Pro 6 its now at 6.0.5. I was just using the GMA950 till I felt I could successfully flash the 7950GTOC and I succeeded. I used osx86 tools to create the EFI String and applied it then I installed the graphic drivers pack "9f23installer" and that gave me full QE/CI support. Full Everything.

Here is where the problem starts. Its in Final Cut Pro where you can import HDV to Prores 222. On the GMA950 I can successfully "convert" the HDV to Prores and it stays about 30% behind the camera "Normal". When I put the 7950GTOC in it and I try to import. It skips frames almost like dropouts but the camera is fine. Everytime it skips which is like every 1 or 2 seconds it splits the file making it unuseable, while this is happening the status usually says it is encoding in real time, which in not possible. It also does this with the Apple Intermediate codec but it is worse, as it slips the video every second or worse. If I pull the 7950, encoding to prores and the intermediate codec with the GMA950, it works fine. I have tested the 7950 in other applications and it works perfect.

Another note, if I capture in native HDV with the 7950 it captures fine.

Thanks

Jerry
