katsukun
AMD Turion 64 x2 1.8Ghz kernel voodoo 9.5.0 Seatbelt Fix nForceEthernetDrive nForce test AzaliaAudio idlehalt Fix Well I always ran into the problem of not having the native trackpad/keyboard not work. the usb mouse has always worked for me. in the installer the usb mouse/keyboard work perfectly fine. this time on a clean install the usb mouse will work for like 5 seconds and then becomes immovable (well it will move if you move the mouse and wait a minute). you can still click on things if you have over it with it stops working. the usb keyboard continues to work as well. osx loads and will run, but without the mouse im kind of dead in the water in playing with the kexts. any suggestions? V3rt!g(o)
same here. Mouse works normally during the setup, but after reboot it stops when it comes to account setup. ASUS A6TC Turion X2 1.6GHz 1GB DDR2 7300 GO Setup: Voodoo kernel AppleNforceATA NVInjectGO RTL1000 ethernet Broadcom wireless Battery manager Works for about 10 seconds, then it just stops. Mouse buttons are working fine. I tried usb mouse, same thing. I thought it was one of the kexts, so i tried a fresh install only with kernel and video kext - same effect. Tried all combinations of kernels, fixes and kexts and nothhing happens. CPUS=1 doesnt help. tried 4 other distros and iDeneb 1.3, was the only actually working. Think im gonna downgrade Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/152107-ideneb-14-dv6000z-no-usb-mouse/#findComment-1110231 Share on other sites
SaCleoCheater
well, there may not be a way (yet) of getting the USB Devices to work, but there is a solution for getting your PS2 Trackpad and keyboard to work. Simply download the Kexts provided and install them. Should work. PS2_Trackpad_Keyboard.zip Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/152107-ideneb-14-dv6000z-no-usb-mouse/#findComment-1110248 Share on other sites
V3rt!g(o)
i don't think that is the problem. Keyboard works and usb mouse works same as trackpad (buttons work, cant move). Anyway, i installed the kexts you suggested, an it didnt help, same as before. It looks like something else is interfering with the mouse. It works fine for few seconds, then i see a HDD activity andthe mouse stops at that same moment. Like something is being loaded that blocks the mouse....dunno..
