Animusman
Okay I want to install OSX on my home build computer. Here is the hardware information: Phenom 9500 CPU 4 gb ddr2 ram XFX geForce 9400 gs w/ 512 mb ram Creative Audigy se sound card ECS GeForce6100PM-m2 motherboard 5 hard drives (4 which are sata) DVD-rw dvdrom drive My question is will the LawlwssPPC install on it? Is there anything I need to download to patch the ISO file in order to get it to work on my computer? I need help. I am sick of windows. Sick of dll hell and Vista is too slow. I love the look of OSX and want to switch.. I have tried other ISOs before and they get stuck on a kernel panic screen and then do nothing.. I would like to know of there is a distro that will work on my system without a hitch Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/151927-os-x-on-a-phenom/ Share on other sites
Nila
Don't try with Kalyway DVD, it will fail. There is some issue with Phenom. Try with Leo4all DVD. SAOSIN
Don't try with Kalyway DVD, it will fail. There is some issue with Phenom. Try with Leo4all DVD. Try lawlessPCC version 10.5.4 . It work for my Geforce6100 ECS board. Using Phenom 9600 processor. Didn't have a problem install it. You said it didt not have a problem insalling it. Which drivers did you install from the drivers screen. I have tried others Iaktos and Kalway and none of those get to the boot screen. They both have a kernel panic. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/151927-os-x-on-a-phenom/#findComment-1076345 Share on other sites
