macintoshMan
I'm trying to install XXX 10.5.6 universal, and was wondering which kexts/options I should choose when installing. My hardware is listed below and the install seems to go fine, but then it won't boot properly. It freezes in various spots depending on which options I choose, from the grey apple logo, to the grey apple logo with the spinning wheel, to the screen beyond this (also grey) with a mouse pointer and it blinks. I'm mostly concerned about the chipset drivers and the graphics drivers. Any help would be great, My Specs: Motherboard: EliteGroup NF-MCP61 Chipset: NVIDIA MCP61 Rev. macintoshMan
ok, to be more specific, I really just need to know which kexts/options I should check to get the os to boot properly. I'm not as concerned about LAN or audio right, just which options (bootloaders, chipset, graphics) are needed during the Customize section of the install to get my hardware to boot properly. Anyone know what these would be or could at least point me to a place where I could look up which kexts are for which devices?
