I have recently installed ideneb 1.3 10.5.5 updating from my iATKOS 10.5.1 install I did not to long ago.

 

In my iATKOS install my ethernet adapter, Intel PRO/100 VE, worked fine when I installed with the driver selected on the customize list. But with ideneb, also installed with the intel pro/100 driver chosen, when I click on network preferences the only network adapter on the list is the firewire adapter. There is no option to pick a wired ethernet connection and airport is not there either.

 

Is there any way to fix this? I have tried swapping my IONetworking.kext with one my friend gave me from his macbook and I also tried the intel pro/100 fix sticked in the genius bar.

 

I was thinking about going back to the iATKOS version but so much more works in ideneb, other then the ethernet.
