blake11
I have spent the last 3 hours trying to get iDeneb v1.3 1.5.5 to boot up on my Dell Vostro 1700. I have set SATA to ACHI and turned off the Flash cache in the BIOS. When I first booted the disk it hung on: IOAPIC: Version 0x20 vector 0:23 . I had a search here and then found I should try using the boot flag: cpus=2 but it then threw a panic: panic(cpu 0 caller 0x0040352B): ACPI: AcpiOsFree"@/Volumes/disk1s2/leo_xnu/xnu-1228/iokit/Kernel/IOLib.cpp:724 . I have also tried using: cpus=2 platform=x86PC ACPI=off but that throws the same. Any ideas on what to do next? I got iAtkos iv5 loaded on my i1720 with flags "-v acpi=off cpus=2" this was in ata mode. You will need to lose all of the AppleintelGMA950 and X3100 kext if you have the X3100 video. The video kext from here will work. http://xtremevenomuk.co.uk/download.php?list.15 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/151762-ideneb-v13-on-dell-vostro-1700/#findComment-1075475 Share on other sites
