S@M TH3 MAN
Hi. I've installed iDeneb 10.5.5 v1.3, using pc_efi v8 and the 9.4.0TOH kernel on my Custom computer with an AMD Athlon X2 6400+, ASUS M2N-E-SLI (using MeDevil nForce kext), 6gb DDR2, and an XFX 7200GS using Nvinject 0.2.1 QE, quartz GL enabled. I'm able to use dual monitors, and i can run pretty hefty apps like Digidesign Protools M-Powered 8 on it. But it still is'nt quite as fast as running Windows XP. I'm SOO close to being able to use hackintosh for everything, including recording with Protools. In System Profiler, my Bus Speed is shown as 200mhz. My processor has a 2 GHZ FSB i think. is there a way to edit something to make this faster? or is it just being shown in system profiler wrong? I'm willing to experiment a bit, i have a second install of osx86on a partition of a USB disk to do repairs and remove kexts that didnt work well with ease any help would be appriciated Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/151741-front-side-bus-speeds-stuck-at-200mhz/ Share on other sites
