plesuvescu Posted February 6, 2009 Share Posted February 6, 2009 I have big problem to make alc890 to work! wath i dit for now one is to show device id in system profiler with HDAEnabler.kext. With apple azalia dont work i put the id device in info plist <string>0x18490890</string> but not shure if it's corect type, i write exactly how it's sow in system profile. I wil try with codec dump but i don't find anywere i have to make'it one in linux but i have to find a distro wich suport this audio I somebody have this codec dump please share, and any advice it's bless This is my last device wich not working Thank you! I might just borrow by buddies audigy 2 he isn't using. crash0r Posted June 19, 2009 Share Posted June 19, 2009 My alc890 (ASRock AOD790GX) doesnt work too so far. Cant find a solution by using a driver. EDIT: Have stereo sound now. I can use lineout or switch to headphones and use front panel output. Installed 888 (Asrock DualVsta) or 889A using iPC 10.5.6 1.1 Final.
