kernels
Hi This is my computer specification. ASUS A8N-SLI AMD Athlon 643500+( it does support only SSE2 but no SSE 3) 39 GB Hard disc (not SATA) ATI X800 GTO2 DDR 2GB I used Alchol 120%(speed 4X) to make "iMacOSX_10.4.4DVDPATCHED_Myz" as a booting DVD I am trying to install "iMacOSX_10.4.4DVDPATCHED_Myz." and I am having a problem when I try to install OSX. The alert sign like picture above appears after the loading sign start to move. The loading sign keeps moving but I can't go to next step from this stage. So I installed OSX on my sibling's computer with these specification. MSI K8N Neo4-F AMD ATHLON 64 3000( It does support SSE2 and SSE3 ) 30 GB Hard disc( not SATA) ATI X800 GT DDR 1GB and there was no alert sign like above, and I could go to the next step, but I aborted. So I don't know what is the problem at this point. Please please please reply if you have any solutions. placebo
I tried to map the CD drive in VMWare directly to the ISO, didnt work. Hang at boot. Use the -v and all i got is an error message: "... /launchd failed, error 88..." or something like that. But after i removed the Sound card from VMWare, map the ISO file to a virtual drive with Daemon Tool (mine is H:) and specify VMWare to use that emulated drive, it booted and im now installing the OS. BTW, im downloading the 10.4.6 Jas lol SS here: read more: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=11314&hl= SPEC: CPU: P4 2.4Ghz OC'ed 3Ghz Northwood MB: P4P800E-Deluxe MEM: 512MB PC4000 HDD: SG 80g ATA Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/15164-i-need-help-with-imacosx_1044dvdpatched_myz/#findComment-97665 Share on other sites
