blink41
Hey guys ! I was about to install OSX again, and I thought everything would work like it usually does, but not this time : I was in disk utility and I wanted to erase a partition where I had XP, so cliked on it and hit erase, but this time it erased and I had an error with "illogical operation" or something like that, and the big problem is that now I don't see my other partition in disk utility, it's like if it disapeared !!! I had some important data on it, and was about to transfer it on one of my other drives. I'm on ubuntu live right now, and I'd like to know if I'll be able to "mount it" again, cause I really need it !!! Tia for your help !!! Edit : I just checked in Gparted, and the partition where my files are is shown as "unallocated", seems that I lost it !! I've lost everything, and all I can say now is that you always make a copy of your hdd on another one.
