Peter Gammelgaard
Hi.. I have just installed 10.4.5 on my hp laptop today.. I used to have 10.4.3.. But after installing 10.4.5 I don't see the white screen with the aple and the spinning wheel while booting.. Instead I see the black screen that shows all the things that osx is loading.. Does anyone know how to disable that function so I get the pretty white screen back? Sorry if my english is bad.. Cheers ! Callysto
Edit /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist and take out the -v from the following section <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>-v</string> Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/15150-dont-see-the-spinning-wheel-when-booting/#findComment-97147 Share on other sites
