mitch_de Posted February 4, 2009 Share Posted February 4, 2009 I dl an TT Pro 5.0.2 DVD - its bootable for orig. Macs. Installed works great even for our Macs I know that it is possible (by that scipts) to convert an OS X DVD image to bootable image for OSX 86. What steps must i do for making same with such an bootable Image like TTPro + others (911 multitool DVD,...) ? Must be: Add an iso part for booting PC BIOS change bootloader (chameleon, PCEFIv9) change some .kexts (at least for HD access - LAN, GPU, Audio fixes not really needed, we can use -x safe boot) add .kext for dsmos recreate the Extensions.mkext with the modified/added .kexts( i found it on the DVD) Thanks for any hints Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/151256-how-can-i-convert-an-dvd-image-like-techtoolpro/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
