K8JWT Posted February 3, 2009 Share Posted February 3, 2009 I have a new install of iDeneb 10.5.5 on my Compaq Presario C551NR laptop all is running OK EXCEPT for the following. 1. I can't do a normal reboot, such as needed after installing wifi drivers, etc... I can only hold down the power button to shutdown when told to by the OS and it is causing my installs to not work properly. 2. Can't seem to get my Broadcom 4311 built-in wifi to be recognized by the OS after trying many of the suggested fixes. Any help on either one of these would be great.
