thome
I'm running the IPC 10.5.6 PFF 2 Overclocked 3.06Ghz Intel Core 2 Quad GIGABYTE GA-EP35-DS3L installed FCP Studio and noticed it doesn't seem to recognize the Quad proc's. I take a DVCPRO HD 720p clip on a time line and I simply add the basic color correction filter (which is a realtime filter) to the clip. The timeline goes red meaning it needs to be rendered. My Mac G5 Quad Proc PowerPC has no problem with this clip. It playbacks with out a warning dialog nor does it need to be rendered and can add multiple realtime filters. It seems that FCP is not recognizing the correct hardware and won't play basic clips without getting the "Dropped Frames" warning popup or having to render even when the filters are realtime. And the timeline is set to "Safe RT". any ideas? thanks -t Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/151055-final-cut-pro-studio-realtime-problems/ Share on other sites
