Hi there !

I need your help very much, please read this...

My specs are: Pentium D 820 2.8Ghz and asus p5ld2 board with Intel945P chipset.

Ive been trying to run osx86 Tiger 10.4.3 from marklar-tiger iso on my

SATA Samsung 200GB drive (with XP already running on C: (20gb) and D: for the rest of the amount

of space)

after booting this image from dvd I tried to enter the disk utility menu from the installation

panel to do partitions... but it doesnt see any hard drives at all...

Ive got my BIOS set up to IDE enhanced mode with S-ATA. what is the reason ?

should I install 10.4.3 build 8F1111A to get things working ?

can you please help me?

best regards

peter

OSX probably cant read your hard drive because its SATA - do you have an nForce4 chipset? If so, its not possible just yet - If you have a spare IDE hard drive lying around, I'd suggest installing to that - it will save you alot of hassle for nothing

hi

thanks a lot for your response, guys... I managed to intall the 10.4.3 on my 20gb disk connected via external usb. but after booting it from the usb connected hard drive it stops with the spinning wheel under the apple logo and a crossed pale circle appears... and this hardrive stops working then...

do you have any clues ?

please, reply

peter

no its desktop... and it runs perfectly if I disable the SATA drive and leave bios just with this usb ext drive enabled... I dont know why, is it possible to make a boot menu that could choose which system is going to run on totally seperate hard drives ? (not partitions)...

btw. thx for your time guys :)
