Tiger or Lepoard on a Gateway Essex [mfatxpntesx500S]?

Hello, all. I was surfing the DellMini9 Forum with vigor goung ho in mac-ifying my netbook when lo and behold someone asked about where they could find the info on how to do the same to there desktop and were drecited to this lovely forum. Natuarly I followed. I have a older Gateway Essex Model # mfatxpntesx500s that used to be my familys computer that just sits in a box that I'd like to make into a hackintosh. I dont have it plugged up currentl so the exact specs are not in my memory but this should be close except for the HD's which i upgrades and are respectivly a 60 GB and a 40GB

 

Processor - Intel® Pentium® 4

Memeory - 512 MB

Hard Drive - 40 GB + 60 GB

Chipset - ?

Ethernet - Intel 82562ET

 

 

 

 

thats all I got until I get the time to hook the computer up and give a full rundown (which wont be til spring break when I planed on the instal and any upgrades), I just wanted some imput on which operating systems I should looking into getting Tiger or Lepord, before I got started, which one was going to give me the least amount of trouble, which was going to need the least ammount of patches, ect. I'm leaning toward Tiger because it seems more peopel with simmlar spec'd computers have susccfually installed it so far, but any imput from better versed hack-intoshes is appracitated.
