Still not sure if this method will work on the following:

 

HP DC5800 (See here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16883107626 )

 

Basically:

Intel Core 2 Duo E4600(2.4GHz)

 

Integrated Intel GMA 3100 (Will update to Nvida card later)

Integrated High Definition audio with Realtek 2 channel ALC260 codec (all ports are stereo)

Northbridge: Intel Q33

Southbridge: ICH9

 

I've tried this already, and the OSX dvd stops loading after the "font switches" with no clear error. I'm doubting my OSX dvd, so I will try another...but I was just curious if I've missed something based on these specs alone. I have tried both BOOT-KABYL-BUMBY and generic.iso with no success.
