andrewfahmy
ok here goes im currently running osx (booted from the cd) and i have windows 7 installed on another partition. whenever i try to boot into mac without the cd in the drive i get "hfs+ partition error" i tried everything, rewriting the mbr, setting mac as active, setting windows as active, trying the 'easybcd' method. no results. i also tried this "fdisk -u /dev/rdisk0" again, nothing :S. i think my stupidity lies somewhere over here: i have 2 partitions (mac and pc) but this is what really exists: Disk: /dev/rdisk0 geometry: 19457/255/63 [312581808 sectors] Offset: 0 Signature: 0xAA55 Starting Ending #: id cyl hd sec - cyl hd sec [ start - size] ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1: EE 1023 254 63 - 1023 254 63 [ 1 - 409639] <Unknown ID> 2: AF 25 127 15 - 1023 254 63 [ 409640 - 268919432] HFS+ *3: 07 1023 254 63 - 1023 254 63 [ 269591216 - 42728408] HPFS/QNX/AUX 4: 00 0 0 0 - 0 0 0 [ 0 - 0] unused i have absolutely no clue what disk0s1 and disk0s4 are. (2 is the mac, 3 is the pc) im very sorry if im confusing, its hard to explain :\ can anyone PLEASE help me note: this has nothing to do with the fact that its windows 7, i had the exact same problem with vista
