AppleMania94
I have been reading a lot about bios settings and i don't understand when people say i used bios setting 812? I looked up what bios settings the P5K Deluxe/WiFi-AP motherboard needs and i found it at osx86project and someone said i used Bios version 812. If anyone knows what i need to change my bios to please help. tweak41
That's referring to the BIOS version number. If you go to the Asus website you can download BIOS updates. When you first boot your computer that number is near the top (as long as Silent Boot is turned off, which you can do under the boot tab in your BIOS). You may not want to attempt any of this if you're unsure as to how this stuff works. I mean BIOS stuff is fairly simple and diving into OS X installation is going to be considerably more difficult.
