aguyinachair
I have a bit of a strange set-up, I am using Crossover Games to run ePSXe, and I would like to use my xbox 360 controller (wired) as a gamepad for the emulator. I've done it before with Zsnes emus (though I suspect this is because the driver for the controller is mac based, as was the snes emu), but I couldn't seem to find any means of making the the epsxe configure tools compatible with the controller. I saw someone else mentioned they managed to get epsxe to work with their controller, but I think it might have been through Bootcamp. Can anyone help me with this? I have been doing some googling, but most of the programming I saw was way over my head, and I don't think it would have worked for a mac anyway. Thanks! jparshall
Running that under CrossOver is going to be the same deal, incidentally. Wine (and by extension CrossOver) relies on the native Mac drivers to run hardware devices. If no Mac driver exists, that's pretty much the end, sadly, because Wine isn't a driver-level protocol.
