I think the rest should be fine but any reassurance would be greatly appreciated If it's not a goer any suggestions in a similar price range would be welcomed too. I'm pretty sure you can build one just as good for the price, that works perfectly in OS X. Just use the tried & tested hardware! I'm gonna have a good look through the HCL and spec something out. But I don't think you can use a 45nm CPU like the Q8200 on a 975x motherboard, like the ASUS P5W-DH Deluxe. A good choice is a P35 or P45 based motherboard. Eg. DFI Blood Iron, Gigabyte...
