I searched high and low on this forum to no avail. Can someone point me to the right direction, or pm me, please? I had the same onboard sound issue once and bought an external USB sound adapter to fix it. I had the same onboard sound issue once and bought an external USB sound adapter to fix it. Is it alc655? I've double checked with Sony service guy, and he said it's alc260. And I don't even get the left channel, no sound at all. Maybe I should buy a Logitec usb headset or something..
