Hinkledorf Posted January 31, 2009 Share Posted January 31, 2009 Hi all, I am wondering if anyone has successfully been able to get OSx86 installed on one of these systems? The machine has: Core 2 Duo Intel ICH8 southbridge chipset ATI x1300 graphics card onboard Broadcom audio (57xx or something) I was able to get the system to boot up once using iPC but the display was WAY choppy and I had no Ethernet and no Audio. I did a restart and now it just sits at the grey apple loading screen with a red circle with a slash through it. It is strange that it was working and then upon reboot it died. I think that OSx86 can run on this machine, but it is going to take someone smarter than I am to figure it out. If anyone has any advice or suggestions I would appreciate it.
