joeymomoko
I'm planning to build my hackintosh soon and I've got a few questions. I hope you guys can give me some advices. First of all I have a removable IDE hard disk tray, normally I can switch between OS (several different installations of windows) by simply pulling out the hard disk tray and insert the another hard disk into it, without any boot loader. Can I still use this method on a OS X hard disk? And I have another hard disk in my computer which is fixed and is in FAT32 format, for cross-OS data storage. There are 4 FAT32 partitions in this hard disk. Can OS X read (and write on) them all? Thanks a lot. Proteo
First question: yes you can, as long as you set your BIOS to boot from that disk. Second question: you shouldn't have any problem either, OS X can read/write FAT32 partitions with no problem.
