Cyber Akuma
I am trying to install MACOSX on my cousin's laptop Its a Toshiba Satellite A215-S5837 I have a very similar laptop, a Toshiba Satellite A215-S7413, which has a weaker cpu but same general cpu, chipset, video card, and sound card. I have tried Kalyway, Ideneb, and iPC ALL of them isntantly crash at the exact same points when I try to boot the installer from the cd, the last message onscreen is: IOAPIC: Version 0x21 Vectors 0:23 Closing and Opening the screen seems to make this go one line farther, but differently for each version. For Kalyway and iDeneb I get this: "ACPI: System State: [s0 S3 S4 S5] (S3) After this.... closing and Opening the screen yet again for seems to make it ocntinue up until the point it just keeps repeating "still waiting for root device". On my laptop, I get the same "still waiting for root device" error, for iDeneb, but Kalyway works for me. For iPC, it also stops at the IOAPIC message until I close/open the lid, then it only goes a few lines farther and stops at: "Waiting on <dict ID="0"><key><IOProviderClass></key><string ID="1">IOResources</string><key>IOResourceMatch</key><string ID="2">boot-uuid-media</string></dict> This happens on both me and my cousin's laptop. Any ideas what this means? Any ideas why this is happening? Any ideas why it advances a litle bit more if I open/close the screen? Any ideas what I can do?
