MithrilFox
Hey guys! I hope I'm not repeating something, I've read the forums a bit and I didn't see a concrete answer for this. I'm trying to install Leopard on my PC setup using the new boot loader with a retail DVD (swapping the discs to start the Leopard installation). My problem becomes the fact that I have an IDE DVD-ROM that connects via the JMicron interface, which seems to have issues that prevent my setup from booting the Leopard DVD (I just endlessly get kicked back to the "boot:" prompt when I hit ENTER). Does anyone know of a solid boot loader (Boot-132) version that includes compatibility for working with an IDE optical drive on JMicron, or know of a way that I can modify it for myself to get it to work?
