I have an HP "Blue Label" dv3510nr notebook. Here are some specs just to lay the groundwork.

Intel PM45 chipset

Centrino 2 Duo T7350 2.0ghz

4GB DDR2 800Mhz

Nvidia GeForce 9300gs 512MB

This is a relatively new notebook that hit the market exclusively at best buy in September.

I have successfully installed iDeneb v1.3 on my computer. Everything works except for the fingerprint scanner ;) . Ive solved my wireless issue with a linksys pc card.

Up until today, I was dual booting windows 7 with os x. I noticed that Windows 7 ran much cooler than OS X. I can tell this only by feeling the fan output. Temp monitor does not sense the CPU temp, only HD. My fans are working and I'm not running into any shutdown issues in OS X, it's just annoyingly warmer than Windows. I'm cuurently running 9.5 vanilla kernel.

Any suggestions??

One of two things:

You were running OS X far longer than you were Windows, or ran Windows first, then Mac

You did not disable ThermalManagment.kexts

BTW: iATKOS 5i is far more worth your while than iDeneb, a generation ahead. I suggest using it, as it allows you to disable ThemalMagagment in the installer

Good Luck!
