I am a newbie to hackintosh, though I have experience with both Macs and Windows.

Here's my problem: I am using iDeneb v1.3 Leopard 10.5.5. I am able to boot from the DVD and install it successfully on my hard drive. However, once it tries to boot from the hard drive, it fails. I have tried to do this is safe mode and it also fails. When I do a regular boot and hit -v, the final message I get before it restarts is: "Loading HFS+ file: [/system/Library/Extensions.mkext] from 4230270

Initially I had trouble getting that far, but found if I disabled my ethernet (Realtek RTL8139/810x) I could at least install it. I figured I would fix the ethernet once I got booted, but alas I can't get that far.

I have also tried installing on a USB drive, but that doesn't work at all. That said, it did allow me to plug it into my regular Mac and see that all the files did get loaded on the HD successfully. I even noticed that the driver for the Realteck RTL8139 seems to have been installed in the library.

any help would be appreciated. Here at the specs of my machine
