PLEASE HELP

hey, I used iATKOS 5i and everything went fine until the end. I just get the apple logo and the loader circle until after a while, I circle with a line through it shows up. I've looked through all the comments but have not been able to find a resolution.

I've tried -v but the screen hangs after the Firewire cannot find secure…. yadda yadda and then it says "still waiting for root"

By the way i am on a sony viao VGN-nr180e

Also, i am not sure if i installed using the correct choices for drivers, after one installation i actually got past the "loading circle X" and it froze on a blue screen.

Please assist.

Also if you can help me with this i would be happy to paypal you some money for your time spent.

I just got mine finally installed on an older RC110G desktop. It's working great. The people here I've seen are very very helpful but they're gonna want to know some of the juicier details about your system. http://majorgeeks.com/download4181.html Run that program on the Windows side of your laptop and mark down the model numbers and details of important parts. I know you'll want Motherboard, Processor, Graphics Card, Audio Card, Hard Drives, Optical Drives, pretty much all the different parts of your computers that need drivers.

please give an EXACT breakdown of how you installed.

(include "i wiped my nose here, selected Disk Utility, then scratched my wrist")

EVERY option you selected, every step you performed.

This will make it much easier for us to diagnose what is not working here,

Also, there is something VERy wrong with that file you attatched; try it again

I am getting the same loader circle with a O and a cross through it over the apple. I did everything according to this tutorial. http://dailyapps.net/2008/03/hack-attack-d...-windows-vista/ minus the Darwin boot part. (cause its not needed in v5) anyway, after I went into vista then rebooted and tried to go into MAC OSX it gave me that cross through the O. any ideas. I am on a Sony Vaio VGN-NR220E. Everything else went smoothly, but idk why it won't boot into OSX.
