Otherwise wifi and batterymeter won’t show up in the upper bar. Update -v wont work eather. I am having this problem for a long time now, i hope someone can help me. Because now i have to start my computer with -v -f everytime. I am running 10.5.6 and the rest works fine. But i hate it to start in -v -f every time. Thanks a lot Already!! XTY
folow this link: http://apple2pc.blogspot.com/2008/02/darwi...ot-options.html it will explain to you how does the boot flags and parameters work, so you can edit your "/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist" and add "-f" flag to the boot (i don't think u also need -v flag because is just the Verbose mode which displays allot of log lines during boot time and does not display the apple gray boot screen) . all this presuming you use Darwin bootloader.
