I'm looking for a program that can root around my drive and help me de-gunk it.

Since switching to Mac a few years back, I've been on a software binge trying and deleting countless programs. Stumbling around my drive, I've noticed leftover folders and files to programs long since removed littered throughout the various subdirectories under Library. My Mac is working perfectly but such untidiness is buggin' me. *laugh* Is there some maintenance software that can inventory what is currently installed on my system and flag all this extraneous junk so I can safely delete it? I don't want to manually root around in there and go delete happy and foul something up.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

It should be safe to remove them. The Application Support folder often has a lot of {censored} in. I don't know if there is anything like what you described, the closest is Omnisweeper

I very much appreciate your reply. Thank you.

I guess I should decide how OCD I really am. *laugh* Maybe leaving well enough alone is best for the time being.
