r.kirkerrr Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 i have been trying hard to install iATKOS 5i on my HP Pavillion 781.uk, its pretty old. i gave up and reinstalled XP, but i would like to try and install OSX again, and i was hoping someone here could help advise me what to download, install etc. here are my specs = Intel Pentium 4 1.99GHz, motherboard - FIC VI31. pcguy Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 It's time for you to get rid of the old system. It'll waste you more time trying to figure out how to install it. My advice to you is to get a Dell Desktop for around $300 or a decent laptop like the Studio 1535 for $500 (refurbished with coupon discount). You want to run a new OS with a fairly old system. That's not going to cut it besides your video card is not supported. You're not going anywhere with a non-supported video card.
