BillS
Is there any way to revert my OS back to a working .5? I have the install dvd and I boot it up and wait the 5-10 mins for the main screen. I select English , hit arrow to continue. As I go forward I can pick the hard drive but there is a Red Exclamation point and says my OS on the drive is newer. Please could use help WITHOUT loosing my folders on the hard drive , Other then OS. Apps I dont care about except for my Itunes Library (25 gigs of music). How can I tell the install to not format? and just overwrite? bigboss
install with the 10.4.3 dvd and choose to archive the system install.. then upgrade to 10.4.4/10.4.5 from there. Ai Haibara
I think that's more easy. I think you need only to re-install 10.4.5 update and some file of 10.4.4's BaseSystem.pkg (extract them with Pacifist?). However, I just re-installed 10.4.5 patched update and it worked fine.
