NOD62 Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 I have no idea what driver I need for this... All my computer specs indicate and all dell has said is that it's a 7.1 configuration. I had sound when I was using Leo4All but now I'm using kalyway.... anyway I can get those kexts??? how do I install them? NOD62 Posted January 26, 2009 Author Share Posted January 26, 2009 I found out that I had ALC888 Audio. So, I installed the ALC888 Audio Kext... Didn't work so I installed ALC883 Kext... Didn't work so I installed AzaliaAudio... Didn't work so I installed EP43_DS3L_Sound and HEY it works..... PARTIALLY. It works in speakers. However, I have a 5.1 sound system and I want to get this to work any solutions for this? HDA_ICH9_ALC888 I now have full functionality of my 5.1 surround system and enjoying the maxed out sub woofer. very much so. I hope this helps someone. In fact, I know it will.
