PhreaKwenCi
Ok, it's apparent that I'm an idiot who only knows how to install xp by heart. So now that that's established... I'm trying to install mac osx on my e1505. I tried it once got it running, did the dell post installer, and then I got the "ACPI" error when I booted up... so what did I do wrong and how do I fix it? I'm still got the Noob Learning curve so please bear with me, I ususally catch on pretty quick, but this is BRAND SPANKING NEW to me (I like me a challange!) and I'm willing to learn as quickly as I can if I know where to start. Thanks! J.D. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/149122-ive-read-and-read-but-im-lost/ Share on other sites
PhreaKwenCi
Ok, an update. I read more and fixed my issue realizing in my zeal I had not proficiently read that I needed to repair permissions, so I reinstalled, and fixed that. Like I said.. Complete Noob. Now, Do I need to install chameleon? If so which version? I have the ATI x1300 which I read isn't really compatible so I'm looking for the GeForce 7300 Go which is, so I know what to expect there. There's so much to take in, I could use some general instruction from anyone whose patient enough to help me. I know you guys are most likely say use the search button, and BELIEVE ME, I am, but when you're lost of where to start, it's a bit overwhelming. Any Help and guidance would be greatly appreciated!
