danpr Posted January 25, 2009 Share Posted January 25, 2009 OSx86 10.5.6 Final doesn't boot from HDD. I've reinstalled it several times (DVD boots fine), but when I try to boot from HDD I always get the same error, it pops up right from the darwin boot lines: "System config file /com.apple.boot.S/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.boot.plist not found." Volume 2 I had formatted as MacOS from diskutil from DVD. Later on I've tried repairing disk from diskutil. It reported that everything is fine, but it still could't boot. Activating partition from Terminal (while booting from DVD) using fdisk also didn't help. Another thing is that I couldn't get MacDrive to see my MacOS partition from vista. Any help on how to make my macOS partition available? Currently I'm trying to reinstall it with different chipset or patches or something...
