d3bing
Hi all, I can't seem to figure this out. I installed iDeneb 10.5.5 all ok, installation was successful (mouse and keyboard worked fine), and I can boot into Leopard. But as it is the first time booting into it, I'm at that "Before You Begin..." screen, and my mouse or keyboard doesn't work. I've tried other USB wireless mouse, tried my original Mac USB keyboard and mouse, also doesn't work. I know the USB is working because I can see the light coming up from devices, but the system won't recognize. The original KB and mouse are wireless ones native to my desktop (VAIO RT). That could be the problem, but even other USB as I said doesnt work. But it was working on iDeneb installation screen! Please help, as I can't pass this point. Thanks all, D3 my hardware: VAIO RT1SU Intel Quad Core Q9400 Intel Chipset P43 ICH10 4GB RAM 2x500GB HDD Native Radio wireless KB (with trackpad) and mouse nVidia 9600GS Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/149058-mouse-and-keyboard-wont-work-in-welcome-screen/ Share on other sites
da_s
I have the same problem... pehy
Hi, I use iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6 and install seems ok until reboot. I had to type F8 then -v rd=disk0s2 (I install it on 1st hard disc). So I can boot only from iDeneb DVD and get OS X running. I'm just beginning to install oS X on this vaio RT1SU. So, what's the way now to get a fully installed OS X. 1. Try my way installing from a retail DVD using chameleon... 2. Going on with iDeneb and try to solve the problems one by one? Thanks. lastowl
or an alternative would be go back to the install and uncheck everything except a keyboard fix (mouse should be fixed by it aswell) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/149058-mouse-and-keyboard-wont-work-in-welcome-screen/#findComment-1122418 Share on other sites
