cmstar
goodtime, thanks for your work here: unfortunately it didn't solve my problem I just bought a Soltek mobo that uses the 915G chipset with GMA900. At the darwin boot screen it recognizes it as Grantsdale Vesa 3.0 or something. Safe mode works fine, but if I boot normally I get graphic artifacting so bad that the system is unusuable, can't make out anything. I tried installing the package from this thread in safe mode. It appeared to install correctly, but made no change whatsoever to my system which has been installed with MyZar's 10.4.6 dvd. Thanks for any help. cmstar
For what it's worth, none of the methods here worked for me. Then just on a hunch I increased the aperature size of the graphics card from 128 to 256. Now it works perfectly. I get QE and CI support as well as all resolutions.
