bochenn
I have installed the MaC.OsX.10.4.5.Universal.Install.DVD(INTEL_SSE3_SSE2).iso using VMWare. The installation was fine. After installation i have downloaded the file chain0 and edited boot ini. Then i started again VMWare and it asks me if i want to boot with Windows XP or Apple Mac OSX 10.4.5. I choose Mac OSX but it asks me again to choose, this happen lots of times and i'm unable to boot on Mac OSX. Can anybody tell me how to fix this? The line i've added to my boot.ini es this: C:\chain0="Apple Mac OSX 10.4.5" Thanks. I still get this, but after a bit of digging found out that you need to press F8 IMMEDIATELY after selecting Mac OSX. Then you will get the Darwin boot manager and then you can select the other partition to boot Mac OSX. The method I use is putting my finger over F8 with one hand, then pressing the enter key with the other hand. Then I hit F8 in quick succession. Hope this helps!
