seesaw Posted January 24, 2009 Share Posted January 24, 2009 Came across a mini 1.42. Guy said it won't boot. Kept his hard drive. I put a new hard drive in it and when I start it the screen goes black. write some info and end with Darwin kernel version 8.2.2 Panic: we are hanging here. Tried to rest nvram thru hardware test on restore disc typed in reset-nvram return reset-all return, it reboots and I get same message. Haven't changed the battry yet. Could it be that simple? seesaw Posted January 24, 2009 Author Share Posted January 24, 2009 Update-- Went to mac store and they said memory or logic board. Went to tigerdirect bought a new stick. Good to go.
