homers
Hi I updated my 10.5.3 Kalyway install to 10.5.4. I downloaded the combo update and installed it. I read guides on the net that said I didn't need to do anything after the install. Halfway through the install of the combo update a grey box came up saying "please reboot computer" I restarted the PC and now OSX does not boot, that gray "please reboot computer" image appears instead. Why did this happen. Is there any way of fixing this? EDIT: Here is a screenshot of it booting in verbose mode: http://i40.tinypic.com/ff5yio.jpg Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/148769-please-reboot-computer-after-update/ Share on other sites
adamsweeting
You need to get rid of AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext Try booting into single user mode, then remove it Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/148769-please-reboot-computer-after-update/#findComment-1054026 Share on other sites
