installed iDeneb with patches on an ich10 g45 mobo

Im a macinnoob - only have a few weeks flying time with os10 - years with windoze, linux,amigados,speccy,zx81

 

 

Im getting the "still waiting for root device" on reboot.

 

Things I can confirm

 

This mobo has no ide interface only sata

There is no option in the sata bios configuration for AHCI

 

if i activate raid and disable multicore on install it installs,apply patches, enable multicore, reboots till error above.

 

Any one out there succesfully running ideneb on said chipset or can give me pointers?
