Hello,

This is my first time posting on this forum so if I do not provide the correct information please just let me know. I have done several installs of iDenb on different computers, and now I am working on my Acer Aspire One and having some problems.

I changed to iPC 10.5.6 for this install and I am getting a kernel panic anytime I try to install a program off the internet or off of a disk. I am using the Voodoo Kernel 9.5.0 and would appreciate any help in this matter.

Go to this thread and look at BUG. After that follow the procedure for seatbelt.kext and I'm sure you'll be fine.

Thank you very much for the fast reply.

You may want to keep a copy of seatbelt.kext from 10.5.6 before you replace it as there is a new Voodoo Kernel coming out soon which is based on the 9.6.0 kernel and will require this seatbelt.kext.
