GnarMachine
When trying to install the 10.5.5 ideneb iso on an M3200 I get the small circle with a slash through it across the apple screen. If I'm in verbose mode it stops at "ERROR: FireWire unable to determine security-mode; defaulting to full-secure. And then "Still waiting for root device" repeatedly until I reboot the machine. AFAIK this machine has all intel hardware, so there would be no need for the nvidia patches. Do I need to format the hard drive before starting the install? I figured I could just do that in disk utility. Thanks for any help!
