BIOS settings for Kalyway install on amd64 ATI Xpress 200(RS480)

I am going to attempt a kalyway 10.5.2 install on my hp nx6125 notebook

 

Turion 64 ML-37 Lancaster

 

HP model308B board

ATI Xpress 200(RS480) chipset

 

ST960822A hard drive

 

ATI Mobility Radeon X300

 

Infineon DDR 1024

 

TEAC DV-W28EW

 

I had a couple questions I was hoping someone could help me with

 

first I'm not sure how to configure my BIOS setting correctly for my hardware

 

second installing .kext can it be done form having them burned on a cd and loading that up after the install I mean will the cd-drive be working without any drivers

 

what is the -x -y -z sudo -s and all that about and do I need to enter any of that upon start up

 

 

I am pretty much a noob as you can tell and I'm just kind of going to jump into this I've been reserraching for a long time and I'm ready to just trial and error it now I'm tired of trying waiting

 

but anyone going out of their way a little to help me out on a few thing I would really greatly appreciate it
