I think the rest of the kernels are also installed. BonesDT
I'm freezing at the exact same place. Here are my stats: Install Disc: iPC OSx86 Universal 10.5.6 PPF5 Final Laptop: IBM Thinkpad R32 Motherboard: IBM 2658BPU Southbridge: Intel 82801CAM (ICH3-M) Chipset: Intel i845D It's SSE 1, 2 so I'm using 9.5.0 Voodoo Kernel + Seatbelt.kext 10.5.5 iPC's instructions are "Please remember to pick a chipset driver to avoid getting "still waiting for root device" if you are not installing Vanilla" (ipcosx86.wikidot.com). According to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_chipsets my 82801CAM ICH3-M is not SATA. I tried both no chipset driver and the "Intel ICHx SATA Drivers" and I get to the green checkmark but when it restarts, it stays on the gray Apple screen with the circle infinitly. What chipset driver do I use? npvhash=4095 hi mem tramps at 0xffe00000 PAE enabled rtclock_init: Taking bus ratio path 6 (Pentium 4 (via MSR)) TSC: Verification of clock speed PASSED. BonesDT
Nevermind, I got it. I used the LegacyAppleIntelPIIXATA driver plus the ACPI Fix, don't know if it was one or the other or both, but it got me through. My laptop keyboard doesn't work and I have to use USB keyboard & mouse, so I'm going to have to mess around with some other drivers. Is there a way to install other drivers now that I have Mac OS running, or do I have to re-boot the OS and start all over again.
