Elfenlyte
Let me establish that I setup my Hackintosh 4 months ago and have been completely happy with it. I have 10.5.4 with QT 7.6. I am running an audio interface, the Tascam US-122 into the machine. Just yesterday I was using Audio Hijack Pro to record something. A little while later, I noticed I was not getting any sound when I open up a song in Quicktime or iTunes, but if I quicklook the song by selecting it in finder and pressing space, that works. I also use Logic and Logic is working absolutely fine. But the Equalizer is not going up or down when I play in iTunes and Quicktime and there is no sound. The interesting thing is that if I select my internal audio output (for speakers) or something, the sound actually does work in QT and iTunes. Please help me figure this out. Thank you.
