wizardy
I had exactly the same problem with my laptop and the deadmoos hd image, so I installed it natively with the patched install dvd and now it works great Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/1484-installed-to-usb-hd-but-wont-boot/#findComment-9690 Share on other sites
plasm
Have you tried booting using safe mode? -x This can also be caused by an unsupported USB controller. If you disable it in your BIOS, it should run correctly. But, since it's on a USB hard drive, you might not have any luck...
