enochpeng Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009 I was trying hard to install OSX on it, but after a few failures, it won't even boot up. Only shows me a black screen with a flashing dash line. Can't enter windows XP.... Can someone help me? or Can I restore my wind to factory setting some how? aquanutz Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009 Can you boot from a flash drive? I'm guessing you just have a botched OS X install and the bootloader isn't going to let you boot into XP, if it's even there (you partition the drive?) What you should do is take a usb thumb drive and image it to a windows xp disc and just install that... Or install OS X properly. I assume that you have OS X on a usb drive or usb hard drive? Now I guess I will follow Paul's guide to install OSX...
